Thank you for signing up for the Spring Family Retreat Day on May 4th, 2025. We are looking forward to being with you!
The retreat this year is aimed at helping us connect more deeply with the Holy Spirit and each other but making room for connection with those we know and also to get to know people from other Home Churches that you may be meeting for the first time. Be international about sharing stories, eating meals, and having fun together.
Prairie Star is a Catholic Retreat Center and has welcomed us onto their property for 19 years. Please honor their faith traditions and feel free to participate in the stations they have set up around the property.
Location - Prairie Star Ranch, 1124 California Rd, Williamsburg, KS 66095
Once you enter the main gate keep following along the road until you get to the Main Lodge. Park in the spaces in front of the hanger and come inside to check-in.

Below is a list of what you need to bring, along with what you can expect on Sunday.
Bring the following:
Reusable water bottles for you and your family- there is a water filling station
Mug, or tumbler for hot drinks * we will provide hot drinks and snacks
Layers- the spring weather can change quickly ( remember to bring outdoor gear if you want to explore the property)
Bible and Journal
Indoor board games, puzzles, books, etc.
Fishing/Outdoor gear if youd like
Food will be provided: Sunday lunch *regular and sweet potato bar and salad
Please pack a lunch for Sunday for you and your family if you have food allergies/preferences.
There is a fridge in the area between the dining room and Apostles Lodge that can be used to store food/baby products if you are bringing your own for dietary reasons. (Please do not use the fridges or appliances in the kitchen - Prairie Star has a strict policy for the use of the kitchen.)
Schedule for Sunday
Arrive at 10 a.m.
Morning Session 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
There will be kids care (18 months-10 years) during the morning session
Lunch 12:30 - 1:30
Free time & games 1:30 - 3:30
Clean up and depart 3:30 - 4:00
A Few Practicals to keep in mind
Prairie Star has a few policies we need to follow that include: no swimming or wading in the lakes, no pets on the property, avoid crossing fencelines/ opening gates, and no smoking/alcohol on the property.
Parents, your kids are your responsibility during your free time. We ask that you keep an eye on them especially in the gym and around the water/lakes on the property.
Please do not use the fridges or appliances in the kitchen - Prairie Star has a strict policy for the use of the kitchen.
